About San Juan Island

Welcome to San Juan Island, a natural wonder of the Pacific Northwest! Located in the northwestern region of Washington State in the United States, is the second-largest and most populous of the San Juan Islands.

There are a few ways to get to San Juan Island, but the most popular and convenient way is by ferry. You can take a ferry from Anacortes, WA, located about 80 miles north of Seattle, to Friday Harbor on San Juan Island. The ferry ride takes approximately one hour and offers stunning views of the surrounding waterways and islands. Alternatively, you can also fly into the San Juan Island Airport located near Friday Harbor or take a seaplane from Seattle.
